CLOCK TOWER

Lawrence City Hall Clock Tower project consisted of complete exterior renovation at a fully occupied historic City Hall. The work primarily entailed the removal of all historical exterior woodwork and duplication with new manufactured molded fiberglass. Masonry restoration consisting of brick re-pointing and cast stone repair, removal and replacement of copper roof, lightning protection and gold leafing of miscellaneous components. The scope also included replication, repair and re-caulking of all windows, structurally repairing and repainting the fire escape; replacement of the interior wood stairs to top of tower and four new historical clocks at the top of the tower.
